Psalms 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

When our heart get’s broken it is absolutely painful. Though no outward wounds appear the heart suffers great anguish. Even more unfair is the reality that what breaks our heart may not even phase someone else.

The heart may be our greatest betrayer in the fact that when it is hurt we cannot fix it. Others will give us their best advice and tell us we should move on but it’s more complex than making a decision. Healing is needed and there is only One who can heal the broken heart.

Jesus came to do more than forgive our sins. He came to heal the places that no one else can fix. Life may shatter our heart into what feels like a million pieces but the Lord can put every piece back into place. Man can help us deal with the pain but Jesus binds the wounds and completely heals the heart.

Our testimony is one of promise and power. Jesus has accomplished in our life what no one else could. The scripture tells us that He is the Balm of Gilead and that there is healing in His Wings. I met Him at the Cross and He healed my broken heart.
